Aww… I think writers are drawn to it because it is challenging to put your characters in these situations and see how they react. This story could have ended when the guy sleeps but the last section pretty much wrote itself. And I stand by the “twist", if I may call it that.

But in the end it’s fiction. As the protagonist in this story says, it’s “made up shit”…
