My apologies but for some reason Medium’s algorithms put this story under the “Top Stories For You” on my homepage and so I ended up here. Just so I understand your point, if as a writer I am writing new stories and putting them behind the paywall, could you please explain why you would classify that to be rent seeking? I did create value by writing those stories, didn’t I? I would have thought this would be an example of profit seeking as I’m only asking for a fair price for the value that I am creating.
